Industrial Engineering Students Participated Philip Morris/Sabanci Operations Business Lunch

MERT YILDIZ and GÜLCE ÇİNİ, from Industrial Engineering department, qualified to attend Philip Morris/Sabanci Operations Business Lunch meeting and represented our department in the meeting. A team of 3rd and 4th grade students and graduates, from Yaşar University, Istanbul Technical University, Koç University, Yıldız Technical University, Dokuz Eylül University, Ege University and İzmir Institute of Technology; from Mechanical, Food, Chemical Industrial  and Management Engineering Departments, started to event by meeting with Human Resources Manager of the factory and 4 authorized employees. After giving general information about the company to the students and graduates, the event continued with the factory production tour. At a later meeting, our students had the opportunity to ask factory workers all their questions about career opportunities and recruitment processes.

What is Operations Business Lunch?

It is a meeting which the employees of Philip Morris/Sabancı answer the participants’ questions about career opportunities and recruitment processes in the operations department.
